This booklet is based on a public talk I gave some years ago, about persuasion, cold reading and happiness. Since I made it available online, I've been pleasantly surprised by all the kind and generous comments I've received about it -- particularly about the 'Story' part at the end. I hope you will enjoy it too.

What They Said About The Talk
“WOW he is absolutely amazing! Now I believe that truly everything is possible!” – Anna
“Ian shared some interesting things with us that evening. His 'magic tricks' of the mind were impressive but what he shared about his life and his journey, stuck with me more. I think anyone can take away what ever they choose, but his personal account was what stayed with me and what I still think about now. So thank you!” – Iwona
“Inspirational and great speaker!” – Caroline
“Ian was quite a character, with a great sense of humour, his sense of integrity is inspirational.” – Audrey
“Ian is a brilliant speaker and entertainer, and had the audience enthralled and delighted by his tricks and anecdotes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with an interest in understanding persuasion and the mind, or just a bit of magic and mentalism.” – Reece
“Ian is an insightful and inspirational guy.” – Gary

What They Say About This Booklet
"The greatest speech you've never read. Every time a door opens in your head when you consider what might be achievable with another ten hours in the day, something starts gnawing at your ankles. It’s the Gremlin of Uncertainty and Ian Rowland’s ‘Mind Twists’ can help you squash the bastard." - Paul French (see his full comments: www.pspfrench.com/blog/mind-twists )
“Thanks, Ian, for making it available free for the likes of me. Now where's my time machine so that I can read that 4 years in my past?” – Linz
"Have just read Mind Twists -- absolutely utterly fantastic on several levels. Your writing is superb (really, you should consider writing a book!) and the content is spot on. – James Batchelor
“Get this! I know Ian from entertainment circles & he's one of the smartest & most knowledgeable guys out there, as well as being a gifted writer. Recommended!” – Grant Willcox.
“Hi Ian, just read Mind Twists. Very enjoyable and interesting. I particularly liked the story at the end, the underlying principle of which I agree with entirely” – Lee Hathaway.

Worth the price

One statement from this booklet perpetuated a false idea: "Psychic powers are as real as you want them to be." Wanting to believe in psychic powers, homeopathy, divining, tarot cards, chelation therapy, intercessory prayer, or any of the things humans believe in, does not make them real. They may act as a placebo effect, but that does not mean they exist in physical reality.
The one takeaway I got from this booklet was the idea that when we act to fulfill our potential, we feel happy. Good point.
Understanding what is.

Looking at life can be done in many ways. Taking action and doing it through as many glasses as you can, in the long run you will realize, It is all the same.
Your little (big book) is like a road map to life.
I do not enough words to express my thoughts and feelings after reading it.
I wish I could sit with you over many cups of coffee.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
